**About your role:**
You will lead cross-country Production Operations teams, responsible to oversee the end-to-end production process at T1 factory partners. This includes full accountability for driving the resolution of production-related issues and supporting efforts to drive operational excellence across Quality, OTP and Social/Environmental Compliance. This role is critical in fostering strategic partnerships with Tier 1 factories and advancing manufacturing capabilities to support the broader Product Supply COO strategy. Additionally, you will play a key role in building organizational competencies aligned with best-in-class manufacturing practices and a consumer-first mindset.
This position requires frequent travel to factory sites across the designated regions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in production operations, proven leadership experience, strategic mindset and deep expertise in supply chain. Success in this role depends on the ability to collaborate effectively, build strong internal and external relationships, and champion continuous improvement.
**Your r** **esponsibilities** **will include (but not limited)** **:**
+ Lead the Production Operations team, setting clear priorities, coaching team members, and fostering a high-performance culture;
+ Develop strategic partnerships with T1 factories and internal VF functions to drive consistent product execution and operational excellence;
+ Act as a strategic thought partner to Sourcing leaders, proactively providing insights/recommendations that inform optimal COO and vendor strategy decisions;
+ Develop in-country capabilities that align with the long-term Supply Chain strategic objectives, including supporting investment discussions with Tier 1 vendors;
+ Use data and analytics to identify trends, address systemic challenges, and support to drive factory performance improvements on quality, OTP and social/environmental compliance;

Position Definition (Key Purpose of the Position):
As a Production Planner, you will support the execution of PO management process including PO creation, handling exceptions and overseeing the completion of order change request. You will support a sustainable performance Team by working collectively with Planning Team, Brand and Vendors ensuring deliveries are met on time
As part of the role, this position is responsible for analyzing, managing, and executing longer-term, strategic planning tasks related to long range capacity planning, pre & in-season supply planning process to optimize supply availability to global markets. You will need to assess and mitigate any potential supply risk due to demand variations, capacity
constraints, fabric and materials constraints and forecast variances etc.
To succeed, you will have to build strong relationship with internal (Product Supply teams & Brand teams) and external stakeholders (vendors). You will have utilize your strong analytical skill sets to drive decision making that ensures processes are integrated and aligned across all regions.
Key Result Areas:
+ Own the execution of PO management process including purchase order creation (where applicable) and change memo issuing in accordance with business requirements
+ Analyze weekly exception and unconfirmed PO's ensuring the execution of actions to resolve issues and maintain CRD dates
+ Collaborate with Global Material Supply, QA and vendors to ensure on time deliveries, escalation of issues where required
+ Partner with VF Logistics and Vendors to optimize delivery times ensuring on time delivery
+ Measure & monitor factory KPIs and ensure that Vendor scorecards are maintained
+ Prepare detailed analytics with clear action points on a continuous basis including production tracking tools to provide effective and timely visibility to Brand & Regions
+ Support long range planning (Multi Horizon Planning) activities with internal and external stakeholders - drawing up robust plans that are aligned with the sourcing strategy and address key planning scenarios.
+ Carry out analysis to discover possible risks in supply and plan
+ Monitor Factory Ledger (where applicable), ensure current year running balances are settled by the end of the fiscal year
+ Act as a change agent/ambassador throughout the Product Supply and Supply Chain organization by building trust with various levels in the organization, communicate clearly and consistently business objectives and management vision
