Key Accountabilities: - Quality Strategy & Governance o Deploy Unilever's Quality strategy, governance, and goals through site-specific projects and KPIs. o Lead the implementation of Quality Culture and ensure alignment with Unilever GMP standards, specifications, and local regulatory requirements. - Laboratory & Compliance Management o Oversee ISO compliant laboratory operations including chemical and microbiological testing. o Manage lab resources, calibration schedules, procurement of chemicals, and ring test execution. o Ensure hygiene and microbiological safety across the site through validated cleaning and disinfection protocols. - Factory Quality Operations o Lead and coach the factory quality team to deliver on operational quality KPIs. o Conduct and build capability for audits: GMP, HACCP (CCP & QCP), T5Z, OPQR, and Hygiene & Housekeeping. o Drive resolution of quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions. - Innovation & Change Management o Ensure quality processes are embedded in all innovations, trials, and changes. o Collaborate with R&D, Procurement, and SUIT to support trials and validate quality parameters. - Artwork & Product Integrity o Review and approve artworks for compliance with quality and regulatory standards. o Manage product identification, traceability, and non-conformance protocols. - Enzyme Laboratory Oversight (where applicable) o Lead enzyme lab operations including equipment, testing workflows, and personnel management. - Digital & Continuous Improvement o Drive digitalization and automation of quality processes. o Lead the Quality Pillar in Unilever Manufacturing System (UMS) implementation. + Execute the commercialization process, use your SME production knowledge to ensure viability of development samples to commercialization requirements.
+ Partner with brand and vendor development, engineering, and production teams to ensure accuracy in pattern, fit, materialsand assembly technics and ensure PD and vendor teams have conducted correct laboratory testing to ensure product performance.

+ Subject Expert In: Footwear engineer, LEAN manufacturing, Automation, patterns, laboratory standards and testing / materials.
+ Able to breakdown complex engineering situations and information into easily communicable mails in a verbal or written format.
