Visual Designer

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Develop and design visual concepts, graphics, and layouts for digital and print materials including, but not limited to, social media posts, email campaigns, presentations, brochures, flyers, and signage.
• Collaborate with Creative design, content and Implementation teams to ensure design elements align with campaign and messaging objectives.
• Create and maintain design templates, style guides, and other design assets for use across various platforms.
• Collaborate with local printers to deliver the best quality prints.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
• Communicate design concepts and ideas effectively to cross-functional teams.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Experience: 5+ years in visual design indicates a senior role, suggesting the need for someone with a substantial portfolio and expertise.

Background: A marketing communications or content strategy background is preferred, suggesting a need for skills beyond traditional design, likely involving understanding audience engagement and communication strategies.

Language: Fluency in English and Bangladesh language highlights a need for cross-cultural communication skills, essential for a globalized market or specific audience targeting.

Software Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) is a standard requirement for visual designers, along with other design tools. This aligns with industry standards.

Design Skills: Understanding design principles, typography, color theory, and layout design indicates the need for a strong aesthetic sense and foundational design knowledge.

Communication & Collaboration: Emphasizing excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills is crucial for a senior role, as it involves leading and coordinating design projects with various stakeholders.

Independence & Teamwork: The ability to work independently and within a team environment indicates the need for both self-reliance and collaborative skills.

Field Work: Being prepared to travel for research showcases a hands-on approach to design, potentially involving user research or field observations to inform design decisions.
