Job Description
This is a brilliant new opportunity for
an enthusiastic technical writer to join our young, dynamic team at
Technext. As a technical writer, you’ll be responsible for creating
simplified user content, including, but not limited to, technical
manuals, training guides, journal articles, tutorials, and software
documentation, while having subject matter experts guide you through
the entire process to make complex information accessible to employees
and target audience.
Your efforts will result in smooth technical communication and support between the technology developers and different departments, key stakeholders, and target customers.
Furthermore, you might be consulted for writing software/product policies with different teams of software developers and product managers.
Responsibilities:
Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for the greatest reader comprehension.
Generate innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions.
Review and/or copyedit content developed by other members of the team.
Evaluate current content and develop innovative approaches for improvement.
Assist management in creating training materials on troubleshooting and usage.
Help technical support engineers to provide accurate feedback to customers and prepare accurate reports promptly.
Support to follow up with clients to make sure their workflows are functioning properly after troubleshooting.
Refer to internal databases or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions.
Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g. software developers).
Help the Support team to resolve complex problems, interact with clients through video calls, phone, emails or chats and provide unambiguously written instructions and technical guidelines.
Requirements :
Bi-lingual fluency in English for all Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.
In-depth knowledge of HTML
Basic knowledge of CSS and Javascript
Basic knowledge of ReactJS is a plus
Working knowledge on Git and Github is a plus
Ability to write instructional materials for a professional audience as well as technicians and specialists.
Working knowledge of graphics applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Figma etc.
Familiarity with technical terms for web design.
Detail-oriented with good organisational and record-keeping skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Must be able to work with minimal direction, be highly motivated, and be a team player.
Demonstration of leadership competencies such as effective planning, motivating and developing staff and building effective teams.

Educational Requirements
• BSc in Computer Science or any other relevant subject.

• Ability to understand the strengths and weaknesses of teammates to work with them constructively
• Working experience with a project management tool like Slack, Trello will be a bonus
Salary
Tk. 16,000 - 24,000 (Monthly) [based on experience]

Schedule:
8-hour shift (10AM - 6PM)
