As a Senior Software Developer (PHP) at Flyte Solutions, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions that meet our clients' needs. We are looking for a talented and experienced PHP developer who can contribute to the full software development life cycle, from concept to deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design and develop scalable, secure, and maintainable PHP applications.
• Write clean, well-documented code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and mentor junior developers.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven 4 years experience as a Senior PHP Developer with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
• In-depth knowledge of PHP, Laravel, and other relevant web technologies.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with database design and optimization (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their integration with PHP.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proven ability to mentor and lead a development team.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
