Lab Technician (Construction Material Testing Lab) (171935)

Ø Purpose of Position 

-   To manage&comma operate all the material testing equipment.
-   The position performs in line with the Bureau  Veritas Quality Assurance System&comma including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy

    
Ø Major Responsibilities 

-    To carry out Laboratory Testing as per relevant standards (ASTM&comma BS ISO and other International standards).
-    Handling and preparing the testing samples for testing as per the standards. 
-    Preserve the testing samples as per the standards. 
-    Read the testing date accurately and help to prepared testing report.  
-    To perform the duties of Lab Assistance in day-to-day operations of the laboratory as per ISO 17025 requirements.

Ø Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)

-    Accuracy of testing as per the standard. 
-    Accuracy of testing results and incorporate in the report.   
-    Handling and preserve the testing samples.
-    Compliance the testing method as per the standards. 

Ø Qualification and Experience
  
-    Diploma in civil engineering from any reputed university.
-    Minimum 3-5 years’ work experience in construction field&comma out if which atleast 3 years in work experience in any construction material testing facility.
-   Should have knowledge on relevant standards (ASTM&comma BS ISO and other International standards).
-    Should have knowledge in machine maintenance

Ø     Skills & Qualities:

-    Should have good knowledge on how to prepare testing reports.
-    Excellent interpersonal skills & Good Personal Hygine.
-    Should have a pleasing personality
-   Good communication and presentation skills.
