We are looking for a Content Writer to join our Media department. Your primary role will be to enrich our websites with engaging blog posts, guides, and some occasion, actionable marketing copy.


As a Content Writer, your responsibilities include

  • Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics,
  • Generate ideas for new content composition Write engaging content and ensure that it adheres to SEO standards
  • Proofread the articles before publication
  • Experience with SEO tools like ahref, surferseo is a bonus 

You should possess excellent writing skills and have an eye for detail. You should develop content that attracts the target audience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create the content on the assigned topic by doing in-depth research
  • Ability to do deep research to become a knowledge leader on new topics. You don’t need to be an expert on everything, but you do need to be ready to go deep on a topic, explore its nooks and crannies, extract the essentials, and write them into a relatively simple (but never simplistic!) package.
  • Making content SEO optimized
  • Work together with SEO specialists to create innovative content ideas.
  • Prepare well-organized drafts utilizing Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress,).
  • Assure all-around consistency for textual styles, pictures, fonts, and tones in the content.
  • Research industry-related topics by combining web sources, interviews, and studies.

Requirements

  • Have solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Are self-motivated to complete work assignments
  • Possess strong attention to detail
  • Are able to multi-task
  • Have familiarity with SEO best practices regarding content
  • Are receptive to feedback on their work
  • Take initiative to solve problems independently
  • Are willing to learn new tasks and new software
  • Have superior research skills
  • Are willing to suggest improvements related to site features
  • Are familiar with Google docs
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress).
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing strategies including SEO, email marketing, and web analytics.
  • Ability to handle tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • A keen eye for details.


To qualify, candidates must have:

  • Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 5mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred
  • A dedicated home office space that is noise and distraction-free. Space should have a strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (a wired connection is preferred, if possible).
  • The desire and ability to work and communicate with other team members via chat, webcam, etc
