Full Job Description
Ø Purpose of Position
- The job
incumbent is responsible for inspection existing and new facilities,
fire detection and protection design/ design review, preparation fire
safety pre-plan with gap assessment.
- The position
performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System,
including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy
Ø Major Responsibilities
-
Conduct initial assessment on existing facilities like RMG, plant,
commercial, residential structures, etc. and prepare gap assessment
report.
- Detail design of fire detection and protection
system
- preparation of fire-safety pre-plan with gap
assessment report.
- Quality Audit, testing witness,
verification of testing procedures of various equipment, review of
vendor drawings, technical specifications.

Preparation of Conformity Report and Non-conformity Report of
different fire equipment and materials.
- Site inspection of
Fire Installations.
- Follow BV TQR Policies and HSE
Requirements.
- Training on fire safety

Qualification and Experience
- B.Sc. in
civil/mechanical with minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience.
Ø Skills& Qualities:

Excellent interpersonal skills.
- An intrinsic Task Master.
- Should have good leadership abilities and skills.

Should have a pleasing personality
- Good communication and
presentation skills.
- Proficient in MS office
