Contract/ Procurement Specialist
Main Duties: 1) Assist BR/PMU to design, administer and monitor all procurement activities to ensure in compliance with agreed procurement frameworks. 2) Prepare bidding documents and their criteria in compliance with JICA procurement guidelines. 3) Prepare pay items of bill of quantities (BOQ) in collaboration with Cost Estimator 4) Prepare specifications in collaboration with Specification Expert 5) Assist BR/PMU in the preparation of invitation for bids, evaluation of bids received, and award of contracts.

6)  At least two (2) experiences in FIDIC-based ICB contracts as a procurement specialist or contract specialist or document specialist AND 3 or more Infrastructure (preferably Railway) projects with Feasibility/ Detailed Design as Procurement specialist or contract specialist

7). Working experience in Bangladesh and SAARC countries is an added advantage.

8) Bachelor's degree in General engineering or Civil engineering(Masters degree or MBA or relevant course in Contact management is an added advantage)

 

Experience: 

20 plus years of Total Experience in the procurement of infrastructure sector AND 15 or more years of experience as a Procurement specialist or contract specialist.
