Job Description
This is a brilliant new opportunity for an enthusiastic content writer to join our young, dynamic team at Technext. As a content writer, you’ll be responsible for creating simplified user content, including, but not limited to, technical manuals, training guides, articles, tutorials, and software documentation, while having subject matter experts guide you through the entire process to make complex information accessible to employees and target audience. 

Your efforts will result in smooth technical communication and support between the technology developers and different departments, key stakeholders, and target customers. 

Furthermore, you might be consulted for writing software/product policies with different teams of software developers and product managers.


 

Responsibilities:

  • Writing copy text for websites, writing blog posts, articles, and whitepapers.

  • Writing description and documentation for software products.

  • Writing content for social media posts and newsletters.

  • Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for the greatest reader comprehension.

  • Review and/or copyedit content developed by other members of the team.

  • Evaluate current content and develop innovative approaches for improvement.

  • Help the Support team to resolve complex problems, interact with clients through emails or chats and provide unambiguously written instructions and technical guidelines.


Requirements :

  • Bi-lingual fluency in English for all Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.

  • Good knowledge of HTML

  • Basic knowledge of CSS and Javascript

  • Working knowledge on Git and Github is a plus

  • Ability to write instructional materials for a professional audience as well as technicians and specialists.

  • Working knowledge of graphics applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Figma etc.

  • Familiarity with technical terms for web design.

  • Detail-oriented with good organizational and record-keeping skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

  • Must be able to work with minimal direction, be highly motivated, and be a team player.

  • Demonstration of leadership competencies such as effective planning, motivating and developing staff and building effective teams.

Educational Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science or any other relevant subject.

 

Experience Requirements

 

Additional Requirements

• A solid desire to learn and develop technical and writing skills

• Ability to plan tasks and manage time effectively

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Should have people skills to foster effective communication among team members and to motivate them

• Ability to understand the strengths and weaknesses of teammates to work with them constructively

• Working experience with a project management tool like Slack, Trello will be a bonus

 

 

Salary

Tk. 18,000 - 25,000 (Monthly) [based on experience]

Schedule: 

8-hour shift (09AM - 05PM)

Weekend: Friday & Saturday
